Salt Lake City Marathon

Well the marathon has come and gone! It was a blast. We had so much fun. It was more of a training run. My time was 5 hours 20 minutes.

Ryan's Leg

Ryan hurt his foot. The Dr. doesn't think that it is broken, but he's going to check it again in a week. In the mean time he's hobbling around on crutches and we are all waiting on him.

Disneyland -- Nov 2008

I know I that I'm totally behind on my blog so I'm going to attempt catch it up a bit. In November we went to Disneyland. We had a fabulous time.


First time flyers!! The kids had never flown before!

We found out that Ryan loves to drive and that he drives like a maniac!! (He must get that from his mother!)

Jack-o-Lantern Fun

We had a lot of fun carving pumpkins, but I would have to say that Doug had the most fun carving his thowing up pumpkin!! Roasting the pumpkin seeds was my favorite part!!!

Goblin Valley / Moab Excursion

For fall break we headed down south. We all love to hike...except Rusty isn't sure that he loves to hike, but I spent a lot of time telling him how lucky he was to be there. I told him that there are a lot of dogs that never get to go hiking and that he should be happy, but I don't think he understood. We had a lot of fun though. The night we spent in the tent was really cold though and I thought I might lose some toes when I woke up and they all were numb.

Doug was really excited to finally get to ride on Slickrock!! And we were happy to hang out while he did.
