Goblin Valley / Moab Excursion

For fall break we headed down south. We all love to hike...except Rusty isn't sure that he loves to hike, but I spent a lot of time telling him how lucky he was to be there. I told him that there are a lot of dogs that never get to go hiking and that he should be happy, but I don't think he understood. We had a lot of fun though. The night we spent in the tent was really cold though and I thought I might lose some toes when I woke up and they all were numb.

Doug was really excited to finally get to ride on Slickrock!! And we were happy to hang out while he did.

So much for keeping this updated!!!

Ok...so I started this blog with all these grand visions of keeping this thing updated...ha ha ha ha!! I could go back over the whole summer and try to remember all of the fun stuff we did, but if I did that I would probably never get it done so I will just tell you what we we've been doing recently. We recently went to Park City for my credit union's annual retreat. We stopped at Cascade Springs on the way home. It was beautiful!
Tyler is playing flag football...Go STEELERS!! And Ryan is playing soccer...Go DREAM TEAM!! And that keeps us busy a lot of the evenings during the week.

Other news...is our new puppy...Rusty!!! He is sure cute, but potty training a puppy may just do me clear in.

Doug's a happy motorcycle owner!

Doug got his "new" Honda Rebel today. He is one happy guy....so are all the boys in this house!! He rode it home from Saratoga Springs. You should have seen all the dead mosquitos on him! He didn't seem to mind though.

Who We are and Where We're From.

We are Doug and Lori Brinkerhoff and we have three wonderful kids. Janay, our only daughter, is 13; Tyler, our older son, is 11; and Ryan, our youngest, is 5.

We live in Elk Ridge. We've lived here for 7 years and may considering moving if we can find the right place for the right price. At this point that would be a lot in a certain part of Spanish Fork for a lot cheaper than they are going for right now. The prices are dropping....so we may have a chance of finding one.

Welcome to our blog!

We don't really know what we are doing, but since everyone else seems to have one, we are starting our own blog. I've heard that it's really easy to do it...so far so good. Wish us luck!
